The purpose of KACPZO shall be as follows: -To help encourage the process of County planning and Zoning throughout Kansas. -To help strengthen the relationship between County Planners, Zoning Administrators and other county officials. -To provide a forum and communications through which the membership may exchange ideas and experiences related to County Planning and Zoning through meetings, publications and correspondence. -To provide a method of voicing common problems. -To provide a means of addressing enabling legislation for County Planning and Zoning. |

I need to know if any counties have addressing resolutions setting out the criteria for issuing addresses. A resident came in today requesting an address for a 20 acre parcel that has access on a public road but because of the unsighliness of the C-4 businesses on the public road getting to his house, he wants to get a travel easement across an adjacent property and use it for his driveway. Would your county allow this and issue an address to him? Sherie Taylor
